I've fixed that problem with the sync FBF

2010-09-03

Hey Guys,

the problem with the sync of FBF with DSL 6000 I have resolved as follows:
New DSL modem (300 Teledat Lan)

I now have all three weeks, making phone calls nearly every 3 days with 1 & 1 Hotline. Conclusion:
Line was durchgemessen of the T-com: everything OK but still no sync
-New Fritzbox was sent to me, still no sync
-Uploading, the "always said to all corrective firmwares": no sync

In addition, I always had to tell the story over and over again. Interressanterweise than me once and I like the collar geplatz complained about in the beginning was that I must tell it all over again and he could surely understand the tickets here. Then the support disappeared, and reported briefly again and was informed. So there goes that!

I still had an old Fritz SL USB DSL modem. I have connected and it Syncte fairly quickly, but the throughput was very poor. With an SNR of 2dB that's not a miracle. But it has synced.

Now, rather angenervt, I bit the bullet and bought me a Teledat 300 Lan on Ebay for 25 €.

Connected, two seconds later sync. Constant download 780kbyte / s from the university. (As long as one can trust the information of Netstat Live)

Now everything works the way I had imagined. The FBF as a router with firmware .86 and the Teledat 300 as a modem. I'm happy at last.

Now I will still be charged the full cost hotline with 1 & 1 and hope that I at least get credit for all the telephoning.

My conclusion:
Not to hope that the AVM ever get a grip. I doubt it personally, because the built-up DSL chips work only with good lines. In borderline cases, denied the box. If a firmware could fix something like that, then the AVM would have done it long ago.
So then just bite the bullet and buy a modem, which is known in such borderline cases to work correctly anyway. The old modem you get anywhere pretty cheap.

Perhaps you know have someone with a "good" telecom modem and sometimes with the previously probierts from.
