Hello Forum,
just a big time praise for Freetz published next! Have I built an image from the current trunk and this is also stable (7170.49 alien Sprt_w900v_Beta_SP_W_900V.AnnexB.34.04.38-7186) but unfortunately I find the dropbear nowhere, although he should be with in there. Port 22 and no response even with the services he is nowhere to be seen.
Is this a bug or have I done something wrong?
Regards
glyxkecks
Hm, can you check once a telnet if he is there?
Code:
which dropbear
ls-l / etc / init.d / rc.dropbear
cat / etc / static.pkg | grep dropbear
If he is not in the image, then look please, whether appearing in dropbear make the built-in packages. Possibly. you can also add your views. config.
Best regards Oliver
Hi Oli,
build everything from the looks normal:
Code:
replacing kernel
replacing kernel-8mb_26-4:49 (iln6)
installing modules
vfat.ko
fat.ko
cifs.ko
generating modules.dep
installing packages
virtualip-cgi-0.4.2
call monitor-1.10.2
dnsmasq-2:40
dropbear-0.50
openntpd-3.9p1
want-cgi-0.6
fstype-0.1
Haserl-0.9.21
modcgi-0.2
syslogd-cgi-0.2.3
invoking custom script
done. Your commands to find him but only in the static.pkg:
Code:
/ Var / mod / root # which dropbear
/ Var / mod / root # ls-l / etc / init.d / rc.dropbear
ls: / etc / init.d / rc.dropbear: No such file or directory
/ Var / mod / root # cat / etc / static.pkg | grep dropbear
dropbear
My. Config config.txt as you find in the Annex.
Regards
glyxkecks
Edit: In the surface are also missing the settings - really only the wizards and the help pages have taken out. see Appendix.
Okay. You dropbear chosen as "correct", but it is not packed into the image. Can you ever in packages / dropbear quickly check whether there is everything okay. Or whether, after a "make-dirclean dropbear" because what else looks?
Best regards Oliver
In the Moment's looks like this:
Code:
find.
. / Root
. / Root / usr
. / Root / usr / sbinroot / usr / sbin / dropbearmulti
to make and make dirclean it looks like this:
Code:
find.
.
. / Root
. / Root / etc
. / Root / etc / init.d
. / Root / etc / init.d / rc.dropbear
. / Root / etc / default.dropbear
. / Root / etc / default.dropbear / authorized_keys.def
. / Root / etc / default.dropbear / dropbear.cfg
. / Root / etc / default.dropbear / dropbear.inetd
. / Root / usr
. / Root / usr / sbin
. / Root / usr / sbin / dropbearmulti
. / Root / usr / sbin / dropbear
. / Root / usr / lib
. / Root / usr / lib / cgi-bin
. / Root / usr / lib / cgi-bin / dropbear.cgi
. / Root / usr / bin
. / Root / usr / bin / ssh
. / Root / usr / bin / scp
. / Root / usr / bin / dropbearkey
. / COPYING
. / README
. / .language
And the dropbear running again!

Only the Fritz-Box-config pages are missing (I'm now on freetz-devel-1831) ...
If I may ask very stupid views: What image are you using beta? For biem Speedport W900V Image circulate yes, s which are ultimately no. Respectively. "Gefritzte" Image Version
"Speedport_w900v_Beta_SP_W_900V.AnnexB.34.04.3 8-7186.image"
With this version with your config files are copied to the image (at least in build / modifed / filesystem).
Code:
Cinereous @ i686: ~ / freetz / trunk / build / modified / filesystem / usr / sbin $ ls-al * dr
lrwxrwxrwx 1 13 2008-02-13 20:19 Cinereous Cinereous dropbear -> dropbearmulti
-Rwxr-xr-x 1 239 308 Cinereous Cinereous 2008-02-13 20:18 dropbearmulti
As seen in my signature, I use Sprt_w900v_Beta_SP_W_900V.AnnexB.34.04.38-7186 (Beta 2). Is definitely an image that is not gefritzt. Dropbear running now, too - only in the surface of the settings are missing ...
According to your. Config you're using a file name that suggests a different firmware, namely:
"Speedport_W_900V.AnnexB.34.04.39-7622_beta2.image"
So my question
oops - did right! Bin the copy & paste mess come. Use actual "Speedport_W_900V.AnnexB.34.04.39 7622_beta2" - is a real ungefritztes Image ...
Hi,
had the "svn up" from 1798 to 1823, the same problem with my 7170th
When I was still tor, privoxy and vpnc affected.
The problem is that in "build / modified / filesystem / etc / init.d /" the rc. Files were not available.
I'm simply in an empty folder a new checkout "svn co" iniziert and made everything new again everything was OK.
Linked simply by the soft link directories "dl" toolchain and "" then it saves time and space.
Greeting
HS
A "rm-rf packages /, svn up" could also help ...
Best regards Oliver
Okai - problem solved:
"Remove assistants" not only removes the assistants, but all the same config pages.
dropbear and had to "make dirclean" and "make" again.

Hi,
has had in each "svn up" the problem that certain packages and new packages were compiled with one, so my question is what exactly is supposed to bring the folders "dl" and "tool chain" soft link by link, or if there is another opportunity there.
Bissel is stupid already, delete everything every time and compile from scratch, etc. ...
I'd reply on looking forward ...

That is the great disadvantage because when one comes to development versions. The fact is that something from, and does nothing more really, but one degree or caught a bad packet, and nothing goes on.
A link to the dl folder TRoolchain and brings most of all: save space and downloading a little time.
You have to btw. usually delete anything completely, "make dirclean 'is sufficient in most cases. Of course, then re-compiled, but when you yourself do not exactly know where what has happened - and the corresponding commit-comments not yet read, then there is the "culprit" not too fast.
As a little help: If something does not land on the box, often helps one "make-<packagename> dirclean & & make". Since then only the single package is deleted and rebuilt, the rest remains as it was and thus comes with the new FW.
